Pros: wait staff was good. Friendly all the way from the greeter to the waitress and bus staff. The food I did order was good. In particular the pastrami on my Ruben. Best pastrami I've had in a while. Honestly the only reason this place did not get a 2.
I was so glad to have found this place while out in Suffolk. It is located at the front entrance to a golf course. I was relieved to see another couple during a weekday for lunch with kids here. We had been looking for a good place to eat near Riverhead and were starving by the time we got their. They were very accommodating to us as a family. We sat down right away and were served our drinks within minutes. Customer service was superb and I no one had any complaints about the food.
Overall: the wait staff is the asset to this place and a few things were executed well but the opportunity for better was squarely missed. I would probably not go back for dinner again. The plating could use a serious adjustment also.
Let me start by saying that this was hit or miss.
My family and I come here frequently. Service is always above average from the moment you speak to the hostess. Food is delicious! Outdoor seating is available with peaceful views. We've also rented out a space for a party and that was fantastic as well.
Nice place. Food was great. It was very loud and hard to converse over how loud it was. Service was pretty good.

Con: expensive for the options. The menu was frankly not that good. A lot of missed opportunity and the dishes turned out to be not very well thought out. Took me 1p mins to decide and I wound up getting a Ruben. I would have spent money in a well made steak or something other than duck and lamb. No steak in the menu at all in fact except for on a sandwich. Kitchen got the order wrong in the first try with my wife's fries and the fires that cane with it were just basic, plain French fries. Nothing special for a restaurant this expensive. My wife's grilled cheese was mostly over crusty bread and not much cheese at all. The fries they got wrong were supposed to be truffle park fries and when they fixed them it was just park crumble soaked in truffle oil. Greasy and not very good.
